NH Senate rejects changes to anti-bullying law

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire's Senate voted unanimously on Wednesday to reject changes to the state's anti-bullying law that received strong support from the House, such as limiting school responsibility in dealing with off-campus incidents.

AUSTIN, Texas— The Texas House wants to institute tougher rules for dealing with school bullies.The bill authored by Arlington state Rep. Diane Patrick adds cyber-bullying to the definition of harassment that schools can punish. The proposed law would also require schools to teach staff how to identify and respond to bullying.

Jones County man arrested, charged with possession of child pornography

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A Jones County Justice Court judge set bond at $225,000 dollars cash for a Jones County man on Wednesday charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. Jesse Mapp, 27, of Ellisville was arrested thanks to "a combination of technologies to help track down suspected child predators," said police.
