Alye Pollock is a 13-year-old Westport eighth-grader who lives with her father part-time in Cheshire. Last week, Alye made a video and posted it on YouTube. Since then, her message has attracted more than 2,500 views and media attention.

Arkansas legislature passed bill requiring anti-bullying policy in every school district

The Arkansas house has given final passage to a bill that would require school districts to enact anti-bullying policies that take Facebook and other electronic forums into consideration. The anti-bullying policies bill passed the Senate 34-0 and it cleared the house Monday on a 68-18 vote.

Trial Over Bullying At La Jolla School Under Way

SAN DIEGO -- Jury selection began on Monday in a civil trial against an exclusive private school in La Jolla over accusations of bullying incidents.
Barbara Bagby's parents were paying more than $20,000 a year in tuition for her to attend the prestigious La Jolla Country Day School, but Babgy, an athlete and cheerleader, said she dreaded going to school.
